Thank you for being enthusiastic about being part of the Children's Choice judging process with your school or library. These are the dates you must be aware of when participating in voting for the Children's Choice award, which is part of the New Zealand Book Awards for Children and Young Adults.
- Wednesday 12 March was the date that the online voting form will open, for registered schools only.
- Monday 25 May was the date by which all schools who wish to vote must have submitted their shortlist online.
- Tuesday 9 June is the date that the Children's Choice finalist list will be announced to the public, the general finalist list will be announced to the public, and the date that the general public (children only) will be allowed to begin voting for the Children's Choice category winners.
This process ended on Monday 25 May, and there were 108 schools who cast their votes in this level of the children's choice award voting.
